Log Haven Wedding | Utah Wedding Photographer | Highlight Video

Updated: Feb 26, 2023

Log Haven is nestled just a few minutes up Millcreek Canyon in the Wasatch National Forest and is widely recognized as one of Utah's favorite destinations for weddings and receptions.

Situated on 40 private acres, Log Haven offers a vast range of stunning mountain scenery from thickly forested pines, eye-catching wildflowers, beautiful waterfalls, and the majestic flow of the Millcreek River, just to name a few.

But for all of the stunning beauty that Log Haven has to offer, my favorite area is the lakeside garden meadow which is where most Utah couples decide to exchange their vows, and for good reason. If timed well with the setting sun, the entire area is blanketed in the most beautiful glowing mountain light. Combine that with the white geese that have set up residence in the lake and surrounded by the hills and waterfalls of the Wasatch Forest, it provides you and your guests with the most unforgettable setting to say your "I do's."

I was so excited when I was asked to document Tanner and Alyssa's wedding at Log Haven in May of 2022. When I send a highlight video to my clients, I also like to send along the RAW footage I captured at their ceremony, so they don't miss a single second of the events that took place. I will place one camera pointed at the bride and one camera pointed at the groom and the client will receive an uncut and unedited version of these videos in addition to the cinematic highlight film. This is what separates from a lot of other wedding videographers who are very reluctant to release RAW footage and if they do, they charge a hefty fee to deter anyone from acquiring it in the first place. We include the RAW ceremony footage for free in all of our packages.

Take a look at Tanner and Alyssa's ceremony highlight video taken at the Lakeside Garden Meadow of Log Haven and get ready for your cheeks to hurt — and perhaps some happy tears to fall — as you enjoy the priceless bridesmaid reveal just before the ceremony.
